Blog Tour: Dream Cast by Cait Greer!

WELCOME TO THE BLOG, CAIT! :)

Cait writes YA and NA stories that range from sci-fi and fantasy (because she loves making worlds and things up), to contemporary (because she kind of sort of fell into it and discovered she’s not half bad). Her best friends growing up were the combined works of Robin McKinley, Madeline L'Engle, Anne McCaffrey, Andre Norton, and too many others to mention.

She drives a Jeep, loves the outdoors, takes pictures of everything she can, and writes obsessively. A martial artist and a former teacher, Cait is owned by two cats who started out incredibly small, and are now incredibly huge.

She currently live in Utah, but Virginia will always be home.

ParaWars: Uprising Dreamcast

Kendry: I had a really hard time trying to cast my heroine. If PW ever really got cast, I’d want her to be a fresh, new face. Someone I didn’t already think of as another character. It’s one of the reasons I like my cover model so much.

Axel: Sean Faris. Easy answer. I first ran into Sean on the first season of TVD, and he just looked like Axel. He’s got that hard edge down, and I found this one picture of him sporting the wet look…and nothing else. Yeah. He’s Axel.

Brigid: Celtic Goddesses aren’t exactly easy to cast, but I think of all the actresses I know, Famke Janssen could definitely pull it off.

Shelly: I’d have to go with Vanessa Hudgens.

Buc Browning, the Minotaur: Sam Elliot. Hands down. It’s the voice.

Thom, the werewolf: Ah, Thom. Dayo Okeniyi (Thresh from The Hunger Games) is the only man for Thom.

Grittanus, the gargoyle: I had the hardest time with Grittanus. He’s a special brand of psychotic, and needed just the right look. But I did find him: Rupert Friend, Mr. Wickham from the Keira Knightly version of Pride & Prejudice (more recently from Homeland).

On the run with only her mysterious gargoyle guardian, Kendry knows that finding out why she’s on everyone’s most-wanted list will be no easy task. It means charging headlong into a war she’d hoped to avoid, and is woefully unprepared for. [Review]: "Sweet"

Sweet by Erin McCarthy

Publisher: InterMix (October 15, 2013)
Series: True Believers, 2
Genre: New Adult Contemporary

Jessica Sweet thought going away to college would finally make her free of her parents’ constant judgments and insistence she play chastity club role model for their church events, but if anything, the freedom has made her realize she can’t go home and be a hypocrite anymore. Tired of dodging their questions, she stays at school over the summer and lands in an unexpected crash pad: Riley Mann’s house.

Sarcastic, cocky, and full of opinions, Riley is also sexy personified with tattoos and biceps earned from working as a roofer all day. Not the right guy for her even if Jessica was looking for a relationship, which she is definitely not. But Jessica knows that Riley hides the burden of having to raise his younger brothers behind that grin and as she helps him get his house in order for a custody hearing, they begin to fall hard for each other, and she is forced to question what she’s hiding herself.

Jessica has never had a problem getting naked with a guy, but when it comes to showing Riley how she truly feels inside, her fear of rejection may just ruin the best thing—the best guy—to ever happen to her…

[Kame's Review]: "First Strike" + Giveaway!

First Strike by Pamela Clare
Publisher: Pamela Clare (October 22nd, 2013)
Series: I-Team, 5.9 (novella)
Genre: Romantic Suspense

Warning: This story ends with a cliffhanger.

Just a weekend…

Laura Nilsson knows what she wants: a successful career as a broadcast journalist—and a little fun between the sheets now and again. What she doesn’t want is marriage or kids. When a ripped and sexy stranger intervenes to stop a couple of drunks from harassing her in a hotel bar in Dubai City, all she can think about is spending the rest of the weekend with him—in her bed. There’s just one little problem. Unmarried sex is illegal in Dubai.

… of no-strings sex …

Navy SEAL Javier “Cobra” Corbray is on his way home from a rough deployment in Afghanistan when he finds himself having dinner with “the Baghdad Babe.” What she wants from him—sex with no strings—could land them both in prison. Still, he’s more than happy to oblige her. She’s confident and sexually assertive, and he’s secure enough to lie back and let her make the first strike. But, as she’s about to find out, he’s more than her match.

… or the beginning of something more?
Yet, neither Laura nor Javier has any idea what lies ahead—or how this weekend of mind-blowing sex will impact their emotions. Will they act on their new-found feelings in time, or will they let something special slip away… perhaps forever?
